We use a small number of specialist providers to run the Service. None of them can use your data for their own purposes — they process it only to provide their service to us:
Supabase and Resend store your data in the EU (Ireland). Stripe and Netlify are US-based companies; where data is transferred outside the UK/EEA through them, this is done under their standard contractual clauses (SCCs), the standard legal safeguard for this kind of transfer.
We process your data because it's necessary to provide the service you've signed up for (performance of a contract). We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell it to anyone.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your property and compliance data within 30 days. Billing records are kept for 6 years as required by UK tax law.

LandlordClock currently uses only the essential session cookie needed to keep you logged in — no tracking or analytics cookies. If that changes in future (e.g. if analytics are added), this section and a cookie banner will need updating.
